New Buddhist Centre in Pedreguer, Alicante
His Holiness the Sakya Trizin will inaugurate this month the largest Buddhist Centre in Europe in the city of Pedreguer called “Sakya Drogon Ling”. With more than 1,000 square meters and capacity for 400 persons this is a place for all those looking for a little enlightenment.
Here, you could come and stay in one of the 32 rooms available for meditation and rest. The center also includes a library, laundry service, vegetarian menu and a cafeteria.
So now whenever we are feeling a little tired or stressed out with our daily lives we could come to this sanctuary where one doesn’t have to be a Buddhist but one must follow their creeds which are: “don’t steel, don’t lie, do not kill a living soul, no smoking, no drugs and no sexual activity.”
