The MARQ, one of the best museums in Europe
The Archeological museum MARQ is a total luxury. Surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere, with the Santa Barbara Castle of Alicante in the background and with views to the illustrious mountains, you could enjoy getting to know all the historical details of the civilization of the province of Alicante.

The MARQ was named the European Museum of 2004, a little bit after its inauguration. the interior architecture is ceremonial, just to walk in to the museum, just that feeling is an experience in its self but once inside you will be memorized by the illumination, sound and exhibition displays.
