Mine detection training for dogs

I just couldn’t resist writing a post about this, it’s just my thing. It seems that a Norwegian company is planning to build in the Alicante province of Crevillente an international centre that will specialize in the training of dogs that will be able to detect mines. In Spain we don’t have that type of explosives, but don’t tell the dogs that.
Even though the dogs will be trained to discover the mines, the enclosure will not suppose a threat to neighbours or the environment. The trainers will use rocks that will smell like the mines, so the dogs will not be in contact until the latter training which will be performed in specific designated areas.
The canines that don’t finish their training with success will be directed to other tasks related to security such as, drug detention. Poor dogs either sniff drugs of mines..

Hey! I love your website but I’m having issues getting it to show correctly in the Konqueror browser. You might want to doublecheck your css stylesheet. Rock on!
