Magic Excalibur, a real experience

MAGIC COSTABLANCA has one objective: that you have a magical vacation. But frequently there are persons who have not been satisfied with something (we are not perfect, but we try to be everyday) or simply want to hurt us (threats for any reasons such as by a competitor). We maintain a constant dialog with our guests, it is our way to act and from this blog we try to answer any doubts, and expectations generated. We know it is very, very important for you to enjoy your vacations, we know they are days that are very important and which can consume an important budget. That is why we try to resolve any questions or doubts before your start your vacation.
This has been the case of ,she wrote us a comment about her fears because some of the comments she had seen about the Magic Excalibur had been alarming. And that is normal, some of the comments that we can easily say are hurtful (in concrete the ones she is referencing), and the pictures included are not of the actual camping, but of the surroundings, bathrooms that are closed to the public because they are being remodelled. And we also have proof that it is a great place to spend your vacation. J Pilar came back from her vacation delighted and she has been kind enough to share it with our Spanish version of their blog for all you.
Now that you know this is a real testimonial, direct and totally personal about vacations in the Camping medieval Magic Excalibur, this is a real comment about Camping Magic Excalibur, so are the photographs attached, any person visiting Excalibur is able to take the same photographs and we hope that they return as happy as Pilar and her family did.
Regards to all.

Pilar´s letter:
Hi!
I´m going to write in detail my vacations. We stayed one week in the Excalibur complex. After our research through the internet and having seen the photos that circulate in the same place, I just want to say that they are true. There is nothing more far that the reality in such publications. I have tried to publish all the photos I have taken to prove that what is out there is not really so, but I have not been able to so you will have to take my word on this.
Like I said in an earlier message, the complex is not a hotel, it’s a camping, a first category camping. It has a daily cleaning service of the bungalows (yes, daily in a camping). The personnel is very personable, from the receptionist, to the waiters, animation, cleaning crew, chefs…they were all kind, and very servial and above all educated. The instillations were very clean, the pool as clean as it could be with so many people enjoying it. I never saw a glass inside the water, because the lifeguards as well as being very attentive to the swimmers remove any strange items they see in the water. The problem with any sign of dirtiness is no more than the actual guests, which some don’t know how to keep things clean. I have seen a lot of permissiveness from parents (which I can relate)..Also, about a comment I read about the lack of cleanliness of the pool, I could assure you that is the time we were there, the water was clear, it didn’t look dirty at all, also a little bit of grass, since it is surrounded by it, which makes sense that it would from time to time have some small pieces in the water.
The bungalows are surrounded by sand, except the ones near the pool which are surrounded by grass.
The paths inside the camping are Wide, green and happy. They have two lunchrooms, one exterior the other interior. The exterior one has a corner where Barb-q´s are done. The personnel is very attentive and aware of any broken glasses, table clean up, silverware replacement, cleanliness of the food area (to which I insist, we don’t know how to take care of things that are not ours): to which any sign of anything dirty is purely our fault, the staff tries to keep up as it can, and there is plenty of staff on site, I guarantee it. The interior restaurant is big and breezy; a little dark for my taste but it’s not bad.
And now what I liked least (but not only here in any place that has a buffet), the food. It was good quality, with variety and chaotic. Way too many children getting their own food, to which French fries were inside the lentils, the fish with the pudding, yogurts full of chocolate syrup. The waiters did everything they could to keep order, except when bus loads would arrive to eat.
After, like in any other place, there are always the people who like to argue with the waiter: “this hotel is shit” (I apologize for the expression, but that is what I heard a guest say in the lunchroom), sir, this is not a bad hotel-I thought to myself- there is no room service. My God! They clean up your room everyday, the food is shit (don’t go there, sir) Gentleman, we need to know where we are. I didn’t go there expecting to get everything a 5 star hotel offers, only in the cleaning ness, comfort, rest and overall the children’s activities. And that I assure there is no lack of, workshops, games, songs, and dances. Also, tickets to , Terra Natura, Aqua Natura, Medieval Dinner and more magic workshops than you can imagine, my son never missed one, he loves all the tricks Sr. Ricardo showed him.
The all included, includes non packaged drinks, such as water, Pepsi, orange..Soft drinks, coffee y more I’m not sure about, we don’t drink alcohol (only beer and that was good)
Also to let you know we went a couple of times to have dinner at the hotel Rock Gardens and it was great, although I love the Excalibur pool (remember, you can go swimming in it).
Not sure what else to say, I’m open for any questions you may want to ask me.
Ohh, if you allow me, visit Altea, the old town and the Calpe lonja, around 17:00 hours, the kids will love it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, and take note of the good things, because we know the bad exists, but you need to look for them.
Greetings and happy summer.
