What does the inside of a minesweeper look like? Find out in Denia this weekend
A Spanish armed forces ship (from the Davis cup not the other) arrives in Denia on Friday, a minesweeper of the latest generation that belongs to the Force of Measures against mines. We are talking about the Tambre M-33, built in the shipyards of Cartagena and sent off in 1999- This ship counts with the most modern equipment which assures marine security and intents to detect any decontamination of explosives in the sea.
The ship will open its doors to the public all weekend long, for all of those curious about the life on ship like this one with many things to explore. The ship will take students and citizens alike on a small cruise around the sea in the morning. With the return to the dock Friday afternoon, all those who go along for the ride will receive a diploma they could show off to all their friends.
