Vins del Comtat Wineries has just launched Serrella, its awaited new red wine with a denomination origin of Alicante. We could say it is a combination of the varieties of Monastrell, Petit Verdot and Pinot Noir from the 2006 harvest and that has remained in an American and French oak barrel.

This young Alicante winery once again surprises the wine market that sees it more and more difficult to attain a truly innovative impact. Loyal to their style and complexity, in this occasion they use a mixture of original varieties, which you must taste to realize he fusion is possible.

In Serrella, we find different characters that the fine and elegant Pinot Noir  unites with the indigenous Monastrell in a symphony in which each of the instruments of the orchestra adds the best of each brand.

The softness, the velvet and the subtle French aromas combine its notes with the Mediterranean style of the Monastrell; Using its flesh, weetness and power at the right time in its right measurement.

Loyal reflection of a land of cultural intrigues, Serrella is able to unite the best of two types of fundamental grapes: the seriousness of the Atlantic unites with the joy of the Mediterranean and the result is explosive.

A perfect colour, with an aroma that transports you to the deepest part of the Alicante Mountains, all this prepares us to finally taste and feel Serrella. Once the first sip is in, the smooth and feminine Monastrell provokes a purely empathetic and mature experience. And that is not all. The wine is persistent, it lasts and it lasts, reminding us of those great French wines.

They say union gives strength and once you try Serrella you couldn’t agree more. This wine is a beautiful example of hard work, grapes in their perfect state that give us a very complex and special experience.
