Thursday, February 22nd, 2007
The owners of Benidorm hotels have come to an agreements with wine producers to promote the local wines of Alicante in their hotels. The wine makers need to promote their products and what better way to do that with the help of the hotels of the area. The hotel owners think it is a great idea, and are excited about being able to offer local wines to their clients who will feel will enjoy the benefits a great glass of wine.
The last harvest was one of the best so tourist will have access to a great variety of wines produced in the Alicante region such as red wine which is made with traditional grapes such as Monastrell, Tempranillo, Garnacha which turn out results like a great Merlot, Carbanet Sauvignon and Syrah, rose wines that use the same grapes as its counterpart but end up with a more fruity taste, the white wine also uses a more fruity approach and the Fondillón which is the typical wine of the Alicante area that is sure to become one of the favorites.
So, in our next vacations in Benidorm we will be able to sample all the different local wine flavours that will be brought to us thanks to our friends the hostelers.
