Medieval Essence in the Peñon de Ifach

The Peñon de Ifach in Calpe hides more secrets than it appears and because of this archeologist have initiated a second campaign of excavations in the medieval villa of the ifach, inside the natural park.
These works will take about six weeks with the objective of getting to know the climate, vegetation and the natural medium in existence in the medieval times in the Ifach.
The archeologist of the Provisional Archeological Museum (MARQ) are sure they will continue to find remains of old villages along with monuments such as the lost church Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles.
