The SEO contest set by Magic Costa Blanca gains more than 530,000 indexes pages

The hotel chain Magic Costa Blanca has been able to position “Hoteldipity” as the biggest SEO contest organized in Spain for the tourist sector.
Tomorrow, Friday 9th of November, in the hall dedicated to the Web 2.0 fair of SIMO in Madrid, there will be awards handed over to the winners of this contest. The best positioners were the following:
1º.- www.hoteldipity.com
3º.- www.hoteldipity.info

The initiative has awarded the internautas who were able to position the word “Hoteldipity” in its diverse web pages and have appeared between the first results after performing a digital search in Google.
Organic positioning in digital search engines has become more and more important in the tourist sector and conditions the number of visits and the probability of visiting determined pages on the web.
This situation has signified that many companies, such as Magic Costa Blanca, has decided to strongly develop its positioning in search engines achieving an increase in its presence in the Internet, and especially in search engines.
In order for the conditions of the contest to be equal to the participants, the persons responsible of the hotel chain proposed the word “hoteldipity”, because it did not previously exists and was not recognized by Google.
The creation of this new word was a combination of two concepts hotel and serendipity, signifying “finding yourself in a hotel that is much better than you expected”, referring to the value added and service received by its clients, in this case associated with the brand “Magic Costa Blanca”.
The election of these concepts come form the use of the word “Magicdipity” which is usually used in the Magic Academy that recently was created by the hotel group, this way innovating its existing entertainment programs in the tourist and hotel sector within the field of Edutainment, which follows the same principals of teaching by play that the hotel chain promotes.
The winners of the contest will enjoy a two week vacation in one of the hotels of the Magic Costa Blanca chain, as well as an Apple iPhone.
The hotel group wants to this way impulse the use of new technologies as a form of improving the tourist market through the use of techniques that have been developed by the implementation of the Internet, submerging the hotel chain to the so called Travel 2.0
