Contemporary architecture in the boardwalk of Benidorm
The levante Beach in Benidorm is one of the most popular in Europe, integrated in the city and providing a horizon that extends throughout the blue of the Mediterranean. The city’s climate allows tourists and residents alike to enjoy the beach all year round due to its great weather, which is why it was decided to remodel the boardwalk of the beach. The new design of the boardwalk was made with the intention of giving the city quality and identity to this space, a public space close to the beach in order for tourists that visit Benidorm enjoy it comfortably along with others.
To attain their goal, architects used wood as flooring, leveling the street and sidewalk together. The lighting throughout the boardwalk is composed of 12 meter posts that along with the palm trees give a picture perfect sight to this walk on the beach. Overall, the new design gives this boardwalk its own personality and Mediterranean style.
