I´m sure you have heard them on the radio and if not I highly recommend you listen to them.  Muchachito Bombo Inferno will play live in the Nave 8 Hall of Sant Vicente.  His songs have a catch to them, his sound makes you dance, you have no choice. If dancing is not your thing you will still enjoy watching everyone dance around you.

These cool band comes to you from Barcelona and have a great following. If you want to see something different show up Saturday June 9th to the Nave 8 at 10 pm and start enjoying yourself. Entry is about 15 euros.

Summer vacations are almost here and we could all finally start to relax a little bit and enjoy our short time liberty. For young people this time signifies a time to go our and party with their friends and have fun until the wee hours of the night (ok, some of us until the next day).

And now more than ever it is easier to get around to whatever entertainment areas such as Benidorm, Alicante, Playa San Juan, El Campello, Denia and many more thanks to the help of the TRAM which offers a nightly train called the trasnochador for the months of July and August that will get you back home safe.

An excellent idea, but if you don´t make it to these trains on time another great idea is to reserve a hotel and party until you drop.

With the new season come new exhibitions to our city. This summer until the 30th of September we will be able to admire the Panza di Biumo collection in the Santa Barbara Castle thanks to the Panza family. There will be more than two thousands works exhibited from various artists such as Rothko, Kline, Rauschenberg, D. Judd, R. Morris, Richard Serra, Carl Andre, Rosenquist, Oldenburg, Robert Morris, Sol Lewitt, Joseph Kosuth y Tàpies.

This exhibition which has only been viewed in the Reina Sofia museum of Madrid and the Guggenheim of Bilbao, visits us with much love thanks to Giuseppe Panza who has personalized this exhibition by writing all the texts that guide you through each hall. A great cultural trip.

Music is one of my passions and I would have loved to have been a singer but unfortunately my voice does not cooperate with my intention. But if any of you are luckier than I and have talent and or a band that needs help recording a demo you need to visit AudioGenia Studios in Alicante where they can help make your musical dreams come true.

They are an audio production center that offers 1,000 m2 of space which include 3 recording studios (one of them with the capacity to record orchestras and musical groups) mini movietheater, dubbing rooms, and 5 classrooms.

It has taken me a week to recuperate my self from the first Beers & Blogs reunion that was a great success.  We had a lot of fun and I hope this could end up being a yearly event.  It was great to chat with the guys of log85 whose contagious enthusiasm inspired me, Fabian who knows a lot about turron, and all the others I didn´t have a chance to talk much to but hope to stay in contact through the blog world, Javier de Sector Turismo, Juantxo , Raúl Abad, Juanjo Sobejano, Sysme , Jimmy Pons, and Isaac who introduced us to the new world of bloganxiety.

The exhibition hall at the CAM will show starting tomorrow 67 works from the Columbian painter and sculptor Fernando Botero who will offer and unedited versions of his most tragic works in consequence of the drama his country is currently  living.

This is a great occasion to witness artwork from one of the best artist of out time. Don’t miss it.

The IV Alicante Film Festival begins tomorrow with six made for TV movies and 26 shorts competing in this celebration that many thought would not last. but now there is talk that by next year this festival will become a European event.

The glamour of Hollywood could very well begin to arrive at our doors with the presence of Ciudad de la Luz and the many artist who will arrive to the Costa Blanca.
